  Excellent short stay in a super apartment in a great location

  Liked: The property was ideally located close to the marina and a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars and a mini supermarket. We had a good sized well equipped terrace with easy access to the pool and lawned area. Bedrooms were a reasonable size, clean and comfortable, and it was good to have one en-suite as well as a family bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped, only lacking a bread knife and scissors. And although we did not use them, there was a dish washer and washing machine. It was also good to have cleaning materials supplied. We also had a large lounge/dining area leading on to the terrace

  Disliked: Not very much. Visitors should be aware, though, that there does not seem to be a local bus service around the marina area of the town, and the bus station is nearly 2km away, and the old town about 1km away. Taxis can also sometimes be difficult to book for some reason

  Disliked: The day before arrival, we called the host and explained that one of our group would be landing late at an airport approximately one hour away by car, and that we would therefore check in late at night. The host agreed to this arrangement. Despite this, at approximately 8pm on the day of arrival, the host called us asking where we were and stated that the “latest check-in is 10pm.” Although this contradicted our prior agreement, we drove straight to the property to collect the key (planning to return to pick up the third person afterwards). We arrived at the property at 10pm however, on arrival the host did not answer phone calls or messages and we had to search for a new place to stay after 11pm.

  Amazing overnight stay

  Liked: The apartment was excellent in both cleanliness and location. Wish we could have had a longer stay! Gated community close to the marina with a number of small bars on the way and a coffee shop that sold amazing cakes! Can't wait to go back.
