Excellent
Liked: The property was charming and decorated beautifully. The owners are clearly passionate about the history of the building, many of the original features have been restored. We stayed in two separate apts over the course of 6 days, both were charming. The area has many fabulous restaurants and a beautiful marina. Sergio and Johana were wonderful hosts and work hard to maintain the property to a high standard. Whilst there was fab restaurants, the Street Food area is probably the best we have ever had.
Lovely central apartment
Liked: Lovely apartment in central Denia,the hosts Sergio and his wife Johana are very warm and welcoming.They are always available if u need anything.The apartment itself is very charming and quirky.The shower is excellent and the bed is comfortable.It's also spotless.Bars,restaurants and beach are minutes away.You have a lovely view of the marina.I really feel this couple work hard to make this apartment comfortable for their clients. Denia itself is a really good destination, u can spend all your holiday there or you can do day trips to the surrounding areas.We would recommend going to the beautiful picturesque village /town of Altea.It's absolutely beautiful.We went by tram from Denia.It takes approx one hour fifteen minutes. Many thanks to Sergio and Johana for being wonderful hosts.
Disliked: It's not that I didn't like it, but it took me a while to get used to windows closed at night,because of noise from the bars at the nearby plaza.Having said that the weather was hot,so windows open probably wouldn't have been enough.The apartment has a ceiling fan PLUS air-conditioning, we mostly used the fan.No noise can be heard outside once the windows are closed
Liked: A beautiful little place which looks even nicer in reality than in the photos. Sergio was a great host, friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful too.
Cozy apartment in the heart of the old town by the water
Liked: Location! Close to the beach, harbor, restaurants, ferry terminal, shops—close to everything, really. Despite the party atmosphere outside on Saturday night, the noise was very well muffled inside the apartment. A big plus for the comfortable bed.
Disliked: Everything was fine
Relaxed, comfortable and friendly. We felt welcomed and the history behind the place was fascinating
Liked: Very easy, we were early, but Sergio was preparing and showed us where we could have a drink and then came out to welcome us. The location was amazing, especially as non drivers, lively and close to everything - 'Los Magazinos' food hall was fantastic. I specially liked the history of the building which was an old fisherman's cottage and which had been amazingly renovated.
Disliked: We couldn't fault the apartment and Sergio was very approachable and prompt in his response to queries. We liked everything but it is worth noting that Denia is quite quiet in the winter ( we came at Christmas ) some restaurants and attractions close quite early compared to other Spanish resorts and regrettably the fort was closed for maintenance when we were there. That said, Denia is a charming and beautiful town and many travellers may find its comparative quiet a bonus..
