Fabulous
We loved it and want to return!
Liked: We appreciated the welcome we received from the reception staff - especially Antonio who went above & beyond to help us - Gerard & the charming girls. Attentive waiters made lunch or dinner beside the pool a pleasure. And the lush tropical gardens were a lovely place to sit quietly and relax. The location was good for us because it was a quiet area but there were a few eating places along the shore within walking distance. The old Spanish building was beautiful and quite atmospheric, no wonder couples choose it as a wedding venue - so romantic!
Disliked: There really was nothing we did not like.
Liked: The hotel was.a dream from the moment we arrived The staff and even some guests welcomed us as we arrived The reception staff were lovely and our room was lovely. The pool area is the highlight. Calm and relaxing after our journey on the road. Exactly what we needed We had dinner around the pool and it was a magical setting Also the hotel was very accomodating with our small dog. Most guests seem to be traveling with their dogs too so it was quite a lovely doggy experience. We will definitely be staying next time we travel through Denia.
Liked: Beautiful garden and pool area.
Disliked: The hotel feels a bit too formal, which makes it somewhat inflexible for families traveling with children. For instance, dining is restricted to the restaurant, meaning you cannot eat by the pool. Communication was also a bit challenging as few staff members speak English. On one occasion, our order was substituted with different items without prior notice, and the staff did not offer any understanding or apology when we pointed it out. Additionally, the maintenance scheduling could be improved; noisy gardening work was often done near the breakfast area in the morning and by the pool during the day.

Liked: Lovely room on first floor with sea view. We returned after previous visit when they were so kind to our dogs. Brilliantly convenient to arrive/depart the Ibiza/Denia ferry. Lovely pool and nice staff.
This is our fourth or possibly fifth stay at Les Rotes and we look forward to coming back again!
Liked: Breakfast is always excellent and the poolside is the most relaxing area for us. We had lunch on the first day which was excellent and we usually stay for dinner at least once or twice but this time round, our schedule didn't permit. We know from previous experience that dinner is always great.
Disliked: Not much to be honest. The staff are always great. We had a slight delay in checking in on the first day due to a discussion between two staff members rather than attending to regular guests waiting at the desk. It wasn't a long conversation but probably worth noting
Magical
Liked: Very special location. The hotel is uniquely located in the best place of the area: the best beaches and trail heads on the doorstep
