Liked: A great place to relax and chill, a good base for trips, a very quiet area, breakfast is included in the price, which is very comfortable, as a single female traveler I felt comfortable and safe 🥰

Unique, grassroots hostel experience for amazing value
Liked: This is a very grassroots hostel experience. If you want luxury, this may not be what you are looking for, but if you want a chilled out, friendly, interesting and artsy place with a sense of community and relaxed social scene, this could be the perfect spot. Thomas is a great host & very amenable. Our ferry came in late but our late arrival was not a problem. Thomas even offered to make us a bite to eat as we were hungry and we enjoyed some local wine and drinks from his bar. Accommodation was quiet and the hostel has beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was also fantastic and generous for the price for the cost of a nights stay. Fresh fruits, toast with homemade jam, large selection of coffee. We recommend and would stay again!
Excellent value for the accommodations
Liked: Thomas is a wonderful host, very welcoming and attentive. The location is the most quiet place I have been in the Canary Islands. It is 15 to 20 minutes drive from the local grocery store. Plenty of refrigerator space plus bins to put your food in. There are drink and other items available on site for a small fee. It´s worth noting that there is just about every kitchen gadget available, including a pizza cooker. Which had I realized, I would have purchased a ready to cook pizza from the local store. I can´t day enough good about this place. It is a coed hostel very comfortable and a great value. There are a couple of nice seating area/chill out spaces available. A well appointed kitchen and a nice warm shower. For that those that know what a hostel really is, this is in the top tier from my experience. If you have any questions make sure to message Thomas he is very quick to respond and is very attentive. I will return, it is a wonderful place in a great location.
Disliked: Less rain, but I do not believe Thomas has the power to change that. The only thing that was difficult to navigate was the fact that there are two properties next to one another and upon arrival I was not sure where to go.... I´m also pretty dense sometimes so I missed the big signs. Just message when you arrive, Thomas will be there.
Great hostel with very caring staff
Liked: Staff was nice & helpful and everything was organised & clean.
Disliked: Nothing
Most enjoyable
Liked: The breakfast was fantastic and Thomas, Nicolas and Monique could not have been nicer.
Disliked: The ants. Obviously there are a lot around the area in general, but if there is a way to minimise their impact - in Britain I use Nippon - it would be helpful.
