  A gem - great base for El Hierro

  Liked: I absolutely loved this place LLanillos is a lovely spot. This hotel has the hotel bits (rooms clean and they clean them beautifully every day) but also has the feel of a family guest house, part of the building dates from 1880 and it has cute nooks and crannies, lovely breakfast area and just a lovely feel. The owners couldn't be nicer. It's a fabulous base, there is an awesome traditional bar/cafe 100m away but also so much nearby. Would recommend maceta kiosk after a swim, there is a lovely vineyard to visit just down the road, fantastic walks and the owners have a map with three day trips with stops and walks that we used as a basis of much that we did. A little gem.

  Very enjoying, exceeding our expectation

  Liked: Ideally located on the northern side of the island, the property is easy to reach and well situated. The online pre-arrival check-in process was simple and efficient. The room, bed, and bathroom were impeccably maintained and of excellent quality. The hotel was remarkably quiet throughout the night. Breakfast was hearty, with everything one could possibly wish for. Upon request, Maria prepared two perfectly cooked 4-minute eggs for us, adding a thoughtful personal touch to an already excellent meal

  We would easily stay here again

  Liked: Beautiful rooms and property. Good views, nice location. Delightful breakfast lay-out and variety.

  Disliked: Wish we had been able to have access to more drinking water than just the two carafes that were left to us. Ice availability would have been nice also.
