Fabulous treat
Liked: Fabulous location and Paula and Davide really friendly. Very unique hotel with lots of quirky suprises. Great as a treat.
Disliked: Not the cheapest! Room a little small and warm, but fan provided.

Unique and characterful hotel in an idyllic situation. Owner not "user friendly"

Disliked: No dinner option - the fabulous restaurant was one of the features on the hotel website that led us to book. We were offered an upgrade to a bigger and more attractive room, which we accepted after negotiation of an additional charge of 200 Euros. At checkout the management sought to charge 300 Euros under threat of police involvement should we decline. After some heated discussion the owner raised his voice and showed us the door in no uncertain terms. 300 Euros has been charged to my credit card.
Liked: A truly unique hotel. If you can afford it, go. It is experience that you will not forget. This is not a corporate monster; it's run by a couple who are determined to provide the very best accommodation, food, and drink. The location is almost incredible.

Liked: I'd been planning to stay at this unique hotel for a long time before we finally came for our 20th anniversary. How special it is, you can find out from the people crowding in front of it all the time trying to take a picture with the hotel. And having the top part of the hotel for us only was great! Surprisingly, I was astonished with the view at the mountains and loved sipping wine from the PuntaGrande Hotel glasses and looking at the beautiful nature around. I liked the shower immitating waterfall a lot! And the Japanese toilet:-) I appreciate almonds in the room and some drinks in the mini bar. Also a nice choice of travel books in the hall.
Disliked: For such a high price I would expect a free bottle of wine and more freedom with breakfast and longer hours of serving it (not limited only to one hour from 9 to 10) and more comfortable seats. I'd prefer to have a coffee instead of tea machine in the room. It is good to know there's no TV, for us not a problem though. And the slide door in the toilet didn't close properly and the shower was not working perfectly. And sad you cannot book the hotel for one night only.
