Perfect location
Liked: Perfect location with great views of the sea and La Montaña Roja. Ideally situated in the centre of El Médano with bars restaurants and beach all immediately outside the apartment.
Memorable
Liked: Our apartment was a 12 minutes taxi ride from the Airport. Approx 18€ each way. Taxi rank at El Médano to return with taxis always available. Flat J, South facing beach front apartment on the top floor (4th). Lift for 4 people Two bedroom, although ideal for two adults and two children. The apartment is run by a letting agency called apartamentosmedano, we saw various apartments in the area with this name on it. Ana who welcomed us at 14:30hrs was on time at our arrival and was very courteous and welcoming, she entered the apartment with us and gave us some hint and tips. They also kept in touch via WhatApp and were always on the ball. Highlight is the gigantic balcony with table and umbrella for 4. 3 Sun-beds. Unbeatable views and great for star gazing. Apartment is well equipped. Although simple in nature it feels homely. Kitchen was very well equipped, including kettle, coffee make etc… Beach Towels and Bathroom towels supplied. Washing machine if needed. The area has no shortage of places to eat. Our favourites “Familiar” and “Dojo” The area attracts a quiet and down to earth crowd. Ideal for all ages. Great local authority playground for kids outside the apartment. The beach is perfect with life guards between 10 a 18hrs. A brand new wooden decking path way to explore all the way to the nature serve was a great addition. Water despite it being Nov/Dec was ideal. Competent swimmers can challenge themselves to swim further out. Tide changes very noticeable here. We swan early mornings between 8 and 10, in the afternoon the water has resided roughly 100 meters. During our stay it was quite windy, but with the Sun in full force it was ideal. Be prepared to be dazzled by professional wind/kite surfers out at sea, training for future competitions which are held at El Médano. No shortage of souvenir, jewellery and clothe shops. For breakfast we highly recommend “Cafe Flashpoint”.
Disliked: For us tall people, the boiler and bathroom cabinet are easy to hit with your head.

Liked: Just perfect. Great location. Walking distance to kite spot. Big terrace and enough space for whole family and sport equipment. Good support from Carlos, you can get any advice for your staying in El Médano. We will for sure come back.

Disliked: Great location next to a market square and restaurants means some noise but you can use to it;) a second bedroom would benefit from some clothes hangers.
