Excellent short stay in an ideal location at a fair price
Liked: The location of this apartment is amazing only a few yards from the beach, shops, restaurants & bars. Apartment is in a block with secure entrance leading to a lift to the fourth floor where the apartment is located. The communal parts of the block is spotless & well maintained. When we were there, there appeared to be mainly locals living in the block. The apartment itself was dated but functional. Lovely small terrace with views over the main square & out to the beach, you get the sun in the morning. Kitchen was useable with everything you need to prepare breakfast or a small meal. Bathroom had a large shower & plenty of storage. Plenty of towels supplied both hand & sheets. Bedroom had a comfortable large bed with side tables & lamps. Large built in wardrobes so loads of storage. there was a Washing machine, ironing board & iron & a hair dryer. The apartment was very clean. There were very good comms from the property manager leading up to the stay & we were met outside the block & shown to the apartment. We never had any problems but we had a direct 24 hour contact number for the property manager & I got the feeling issues would be resolved quickly. There is no parking near the apartment although you could unload near to the front door then move the car. The apartment block was very quiet & there is a nice happy noise that comes from the square with kids playing & people enjoying themselves. Would definitely return to this apartment. El Medano feels safe for adults & children.
Disliked: No air conditioning but keeping the terrace door & bedroom window with the prevailing wind the apartment was cool enough. Just watch when you open the front door as it is likely to slam shut, make sure you have your house key!

Liked: Great central location next to beach with restaurants, supermarket, taxis and bus stop nearby. Very comfortable bed and decent shower
Disliked: Dining furniture could be updated for more comfortable chairs but this did not affect our enjoyment of the apartment

Liked: We stayed at this accommodation in El Médano for five nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. A big advantage was that basic groceries such as oil, salt and sugar were already provided. The bedroom was separate from the living area, which made the apartment quiet and comfortable, and we slept extremely well. The kitchen was fully equipped and practical for everyday use. The location is excellent: the ocean is literally one minute away and there are many shops and services in the immediate vicinity.
Disliked: On the negative side, parking in the area is quite difficult. In addition, waste disposal is poorly organised. It is not easy to find a proper place to dispose of rubbish.
Comfortable stay in a central location
Liked: Very close to the beach Lots of restaurants around Relaxed, non-touristy vibe Walkable town with a lively but calm atmosphere
Disliked: can be a bit noisy if you sleep with open windows could use a few more kitchen accessories, especially a wine opener
