Exceptional
Everything you need for a stay in Jerez!
Liked: A cosy room with fully equipped kitchenette which had Nespresso type coffee pods, tea, sugar, detergent tablets, etc. Maybe invest in a kettle? Smart TV had plenty of normal channels once I understood how to use it. Bit too smart! Communication with the owner was very good through WhatsApp.
Disliked: Next door were a little noisy in the night with loud TV and banging. Not Olivar’s fault as they don’t own it but that’s why I didn’t give a 10.

Liked: Very easy to find the keys and very helpful owner.
Disliked: After a barely 10-minute shower, there is no more warm water. My partner waited 30 minutes to see if the boiler system needed to heat some water again but it didn’t do anything. The boiler was very loud and the apartment door is made out of glass, so if someone turns the light in the corridor it’s not dark anymore.

SCAM - run from this place
Disliked: SCAM. The apartment I got is not the one in the pictures. Even the location is different. I booked 6 months in advance to guarantee a good price for the Festival de Jerez and was promised a comfortable and brand new apartment. The one I got not only was somewhere else as it was dirty, old, full of bedbugs, broken appliances, windows with no locks. Had to stay for 8 days in this dump, with no deadbolt on the door (the reason I asked booking not to contact the owner during my stay - woman travelling alone) because there was nothing available in town when I arrived. Also Booking does nothing to keep the owner from scamming other guests. Do yourself a favour and book your apartment through another platform, as booking.com is helpless when it comes to taking responsibility for what's announced here.
