  Fantastic villa, highly recommended and will definitely be returning

  Liked: The villa was spacious, modern and clean. It had spectacular views over the lake and was a 20 min stroll to the main shops / bars etc. 10 mins to a supermarket and local bar and close enough to the Med on the other side. Jose, the host, was great, he checked in with us and answered my questions over whatsapp which was super helpful. The pool was lovely - open from 10am to 10pm with a no swim siesta time at 3pm til 5pm.

  Disliked: We arrived slightly out of season so there wasnt much open and unfortunately for us we timed our arrival with a large storm. But we were grateful to have a fab villa with everything we needed including a large balcony where we could sit with a glass of wine and watch the lightning! Please bear in mind that this is a traditional Spanish area so if you are looking for a fry up or a Sunday roast you will struggle, embrace the tapas and tostados and brush up on some basic Spanish and you'll have a great time.

  A fabulous stay in a high standard apartment in a beautiful location

  Liked: I can’t fault this amazing property! The views from the balcony are incredible and we loved having our own access to the beach. The property was really well equipped with everything you could possibly want or need and it was immaculately clean. Communication with the host was friendly and helpful and he always responded quickly to any questions we had before and during our stay.

Good to know

In Spain, if you own a place for tourists to stay, you have to keep a record of who stays there. It’s a rule that’s not widely known. This record needs to be shared with the authorities, like the Civil Guard, to ensure public safety.

The registration form must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours of the arrival or departure of the guests.
