  The constant restaurant noise and general condition of the place makes it difficult to recommend

  Liked: The location is right on the beach, so that's nice. The apartment itself is quite large and has a cozy feel.

  Disliked: The worst thing about the place is that is sits immediately above a restaurant. Every morning, as the staff prepares to open you can hear chairs being dragged across the floor. It's quite loud and woke us up every time. Because the restaurant operates until late, the same noises can be heard at 12 - 1AM when the restaurant closes. In addition to that, the place is not taken care of and its condition is nothing like what's being advertised in the pictures. - The place feels old and not taken care of. The walls and ceiling are dirty and full of yellow stains. - The kitchen extraction isn't working and literally fell off upon touching it. - The place is in a general state of disrepair and needs some TLC from the owner to justify what they're charging for it. You can find much better value for money elsewhere.

  Liked: Great apartment overlooking the beach. Comfortable bed and little balcony with sea view. The apartment was well equipped with everything you might need. I would be happy to stay there again on a future visit to Las Palmas.

  A good location and accommodation to enjoy life at Las Canteras beach

  Liked: The location was perfect for walks on the promenade. The views from the small balcony were great, with a 180deg view of Las Canteras beach. The balcony gets no sun, perfect for us as the temperature in November got to 31deg. The apartment was a good size for 2 people. The host responded very quickly to our requests. The 2 restaurants below were the best in the area and we used them a lot. Although the balcony is on the first floor and above the restaurants it felt private. The sound of the waves (massive ones!) filtered out most noise - in a pleasant way!

  Disliked: The fittings were ok, IKEA type standard, and adequate. A couple of things had to be repaired but that was done quickly. The "complementary" cleaning we were promised over our 2 week stay was a bag of clean linen left at the door. There were no toiletries, despite the description on Booking.com. We had to buy shampoos and kitchen towel. At that price I don't like having to go shopping my first night.
