  Perfect location, let down by noise and upkeep

  Liked: The location is very central and handy. The apartment overlooks a small square in the Old Town, surrounded by restaurants and cafés, so everything is within walking distance. The photos reflect the apartment's actual condition reasonably well.

  Disliked: The biggest problem was the noise, and I want to be clear about it. I booked knowing the apartment faces a square with restaurants, and normal noise from people dining outside doesn't bother me. I'm also a very deep sleeper. However, during my stay, workers were installing Christmas lights in the square until 4–5 a.m. every night, with vehicles running and constant beeping. I couldn't sleep at all for three nights in a row. I understand the host can't control this, but guests should be warned about it in advance, as it made the stay exhausting. Cleanliness also needs attention. There were many ants in the apartment from the moment I arrived, even though I had no food there on the first day. The bed sheet had visible stains. It smelled clean and had probably been washed, but the marks were still off-putting. The shower has gaps and some mould and clearly needs maintenance. And I stayed 3 nights and no cleaning or towel change offered. Please also note that the stairs are very narrow, so the apartment may not suit anyone with mobility issues.

  Lovely stay and very helpful hosts

  Liked: Perfect location in the centre of old town and short walk to beach. Hosts very helpful and accommodating as our flight was in very late. Lovely stay overall.

  Disliked: Small leak in bathroom so there was some water dripping. Received a very obscure WhatsApp relating to finalising check in which I think was a scam.

  Misleading listing- confirm before booking

  Liked: The location was lovely, right in the old town. Next to a cute & busy square. One thing to note is that it’s pedestrian only, you cannot drive to the apartment or near it to drop luggage, so it’s something to be aware of. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and silverware and a kettle. Unlike other reviews, there was not wine or coffee there when we arrived. The A/C worked well, which was wonderful in July! It was very very clean. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable.

  Disliked: We did not get the unit we booked. We booked the Deluxe Apartment which is listed on the website as one bed in the bedroom and 2 sofa beds. We were given a unit with one sofa bed. I specifically selected one with three total beds (1 bed, 2 sofa beds). When I reached out to the host, they incorrectly stated that is what I booked. I will attach photos to verify. They offered no solution and eventually stopped responding altogether. Not good hosting. I understand they didn’t have a replacement available but there ought to have been some effort at apologizing or refunding a portion or trying to at least make some recognition that they had made a mistake. Very disappointing.

  Overall apt was perfect location in beautiful old town

  Liked: V central to old town. Had everything we needed

  Disliked: A bit confusing to locate perhaps in the info you could include location beside orange tree restaurant also that the door actually at back/side of a restaurant as if u arrive during a busy evening like we did it’s difficult to locate

  Overall enjoyed our stay - great to be in the heart of the Old Town

  Liked: The location of this apartment is great - right in the heart of the Old Town. The general facilities (kettle, microwave, hairdryer etc. etc.) all worked and were relatively modern.

  Disliked: The decor and workmanship internally was tired and pretty basic. The bath was rusty in places and water leaked through the shower screen onto the floor. The stairwell to the apartment is dark and steep - not suitable for people with mobility issues. Intermittent WiFi service.
