  Lovely styled apartment but a lot of stairs and a massive hill which wasn’t great for one of our party that is currently

  Liked: Lovely big and bright apartment with everything you need for a short stay.

  Disliked: Not enough furniture outside for our party of 5 and what is there isn’t very comfortable. The hill to the apartment is an absolute killer! Also a lot of building work going on around the apartment so a lot of noise throughout the day.

  Liked: The space in the apartment, the decor & everything in the apartment you needed for a stay.

  Disliked: Not been advised prior to our stay or on arrival that we had no pool. The property is clearly advertised with a pool. It was very disappointing. Also the shower was blocked and caused an overflow which we had to clean ourselves. The drain required to be cleared.

  Great accommodation with great transport links

  Liked: This was a lovely property which was very clean and a great location. Yes, there is a hill leading up to the property and yes the train can be heard if you have the windows open but the positives far outweigh these couple of bits. The location was perfect as the train station is a 5 minute walk and runs every 20 mins between Malaga and Fuengirola and is very cost effective. Lots of lovely restaurants locally and the beaches were nice and quiet. The pool on site was perfect and was very rarely busy so always managed to get 4 sunbeds to relax. Would 100% visit again.

  Liked: Great location, very close to the train station and to the beach. The facilities are great with outdoor swimming pool, gym, and it look exactly like the same as the photos.

  Disliked: It’s just minor about some light is not function and the mattress is a bit soft (maybe suitable for others).

  Great apartment, great location!

  Liked: This is a beautiful apartment and looks just like it does in the photos. The apartment was super clean, beautifully-presented and has everything you need. All of the bedrooms are spacious with space to hang clothes etc. The host was very accommodating and answered all of our questions very quickly. The location is also great - Carvajal feels much more authentic than other places on the Costa del Sol. It is a short walk to the beach, supermarkets and resturants. We were able to use both the train and bus to get around. The train is a short walk from the apartment and takes you directly to the airport and into Malaga. Wait times for the bus were long but the train is super efficient, really convenient and reasonably priced.

  Disliked: There is a lot of construction work at the moment and we were woken every morning by the workmen just after 7am. The soundproofing could also be much improved - you can hear the doors on the train open and close with the windows closed. The doors between the rooms need a little oil as they are noisy to open and close. As others have mentioned, the walk back to the apartment from the seafront is steep. Not a problem for those that are fit, but my elderly mother in law struggled - those with pushchairs etc seemed to struggle too. Having said this, this would not stop us from re-booking the apartment as the positives far outweighed the negatives.
