  Spacious and good location but poor standard of cleaning & customer care

  Liked: The views from the large balcony were spectacular. Spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms, good showers and bath a bonus. Plenty of hot water. Good communication with hosts. The beach was just over the road. Restaurants and shops were nearby.

  Disliked: Cleaning and service was very poor. We booked for 17 nights and the accommodation was not cleaned once. I had to request a change of bedding on day 8. I was told they would deliver clean bedding but I would need to strip and make up the beds myself. Given we paid €2000 for our stay, this was totally unacceptable. The apartment had a stale, musty smell throughout which was off putting. The cleaning standard was very low with dust and dirt evident on the lampshades and under tables and furniture. No sunbeds or deckchairs were provided so we couldn't use the pool to sit at, this was very disappointing. I enquired and was told we would need to buy our own to use - this obviously was not feasible for such a short stay. All in all, a very poor response given the amount of money we paid. We experienced the ants too.

  Liked: Extremely comfortable and luxuriously facilitated apartment. Really everything one might need is available. Large terrace and comfortable living room and kitchen. 2 bath 2 bedroom. Clean, safe and centrally located in the quiet part of the Fuengirola boulevard but still close to amenities and restaurants and bars. Walking distance to bus and train. I would come back anytime

  Liked: The apartment has everything you need, convenient location, close to restaurants and shops, great view from the balcony.

  Disliked: The apartment needs cosmetic repairs, the living room sofa is very uncomfortable, the chairs on the balcony need to be replaced because they are worn out and tear clothes. There are small ants in the kitchen.
