  Brilliant location and comfortable villa

  Liked: Excellent location. Quick walk down to the beach though you can't see it from the villa and it's quite built up. The train station, a bus stop and a good supermarket all within reach. Minor uphill walk which is only uncomfortable when you have luggage but alright otherwise. Ample space. Plenty of sunbeds. The pool is shared but that was rarely a problem. A separate terrace for BBQs and plenty of parking, neither of which we needed. Staff is easy to contact by WhatsApp should you need anything more. We were in flat 4 out of the 5 available but it's a brilliant accommodation for a large group to share.

  Disliked: A starter pack of toiletries (shower gel, shampoo) would have been nice. We weren't given any dishwashing tablets but it was soon rectified when I raised it. Similarly our first night got very chilly and I couldn't find any duvets but turns out there were more than enough stored underneath the beds (they lift up!). Strange to be provided two single covers on a double bed but nothing that once can't get used to.

  great family get together to celebrate my retirement
