A good spot to stay if you don't want to be in the thick of it

Liked: Clean, comfortable, modern, well equipped. Friendly host. It was possible to walk from El Cercado into Puerto de Mogan (about 4km) on quiet lanes and pedestrian routes for access to shops restaurants and the beach. There is also a bus service approximately hourly along the main road. We also were able to do an interesting walk from the apartment on Ruta 2 which starts at end of Calle Los Quesada (about 200m heading in the opposite direction to Puerto de Mogan. However this is a steep and strenuous climb.

Disliked: Free parking was in an underground carpark beneath the apartment block which despite having a small car was very difficult to manoeuvre into and out of. We tended to leave our car on the street whenever a space was available. One or two things in the apartment required maintenance which we brought to the attention of the owner, but these were of a minor nature.
