  The host tried to help, but cockroaches and noise spoiled my stay

  Liked: The host replied quickly on WhatsApp, left insect spray in the room and moved me to another room after I found a cockroach on the bed.

  Disliked: The bed linen wasn't clean. The host said the cleaner was supposed to come that day but wasn't answering, and sent someone else. That person changed the bed linen and towels while I was there, but I had to come back to the property to open my room for them. Two days later, a large cockroach ran into the room in the morning, and in the evening I found another one on the bed. I was moved to room 8. Poor soundproofing. The fridge in the room was so loud that I had to switch it off and keep my food in the shared kitchen. A door somewhere in the building slammed very loudly and often. Door closers would make guests feel calmer and more secure. Good to know: included housekeeping is only a towel change every 3 days and weekly bed linen; any other cleaning costs extra. The floor isn't mopped, and when the bin was emptied, no new bag was put in, so I had to fetch one from the kitchen myself.

  Disappointing, I would not recommend to stay here. Also, written communication from staff is also not very polite

  Liked: Location was perfect.

  Disliked: The toilet had a lot of hair in it. It was not cleaned and checked prior to my arrival. The window and curtains could not kept open because there was another window just two meters from it. The fan was working only in timer mode, hence I could not keep it on all night. The building is extremely noisy, the entry door slammed until 1.30 am. I could fall asleep only at 1.30 am.

  Ideal location for our one night in Puerto de Mogan

  Liked: The place was slightly dated however clean and well presented. Owner kept in touch throughout and gave clear instructions with photos.

  Central and sufficient

  Liked: Great location 10/10! Basic but all one needs. Great for a short stay. Awesome views from a terrace.

  Disliked: Lots of stairs. Please warn potential guests so they get prepared. I had a huge problem taking my bag up to the 1st floor.
