An exceptional place to stay, particularly as a Pilgrim on the Camino del Norte
Liked: Exceptionally kind, warm, welcoming hospitality! The owners go out of their way to ensure comfort and cleanliness. The restaurant they also own Nextdoor is an added bonus as the food is equally exceptional as well as the atmosphere

Liked: Food in the restaurant was great. Especially the empanadas. And cheese cake!

Sol, the proprietor, was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, sparkling clean
Liked: Pristinely clean. Bookstore vibe. Food available onsite. Comfy bed. Substantial table.
Disliked: Not so great pillows but folded blankets helped to bolster. That’s all a matter of personal preference anyway!
Comfortable well situated Camino hostal
Liked: Close to Camino, clean, comfortable with easy access to local bars restaurants and shops. The hosts were helpful and rang us a taxi for our unexpected early trip back to Santander.
Disliked: Unfortunately we were expecting to be able to eat in the restaurant and have a drink in the bar, hopefully with other residents of the hostal but the bar and restaurant were closed.
Liked: Friendly hosts. Quiet location very close to the Camino Del Norte. I thoroughly recommend the hamburgers! Homemade beef patty, loads of onions and an exceptional roll.
