Exceptional
Liked: Lovely country house hotel. Nice public space. Breakfast was good. Suggest hotel should consider serving a simple evening meal on nights the local restaurant is closed. (Soup, spanish omelette and dessert)
Disliked: Only restaurant in town was closed on Monday night. Luckily, the local supermarket was selling quality artesian food and wine, which could be consumed on site.
Great property let down by the breakfast and breakfast room
Liked: Sitting in the veranda at the back overlooking the garden and the hills, watching birds of prey drifting overhead is magical. Beautifully presented property and wonderful welcome.
Disliked: The breakfast room is in the basement and it doesn’t work there. Also breakfast itself needs modernising as it was disappointing. Luke warm coffee in thermos jugs is passé.

Disliked: Suggestion: move the breakfast room upstairs or to the beautiful garden.:)

Disliked: The rooster that woke us up every morning when the sun rose - but its also part of the charm of mountain / country living
