It was good all in all

Liked: The pool, the people were nice

Disliked: No air con, and cockroaches kept flying in.

Liked: Apartment was clean and had everything as described. There were additional sheets and towels. Host was very helpful and met us at the correct time. Checkout was smooth too.

Disliked: At the top of a huge hill, very long steep walk up and down. The driveway down to the apartment isn't suitable for hire cars. Had to carry luggage/groceries down many steps. No parking available even on the road. Swimming pool was not a all clean. It wasn't cleaned for the duration of our trip.

Great views, fantastic scenery, lovely place for a getaway

Liked: Beautiful location on top of the hill overlooking the bay of Amadores, from here you can walk or drive to both Amadores or Puerto Rico. The Europa shopping Centre is a short walk away, and also a few local bars and Restaurants. The apartment itself fairly well equipped for self catering, and has comfy furniture.

Disliked: The apartment is situated at the very lower end of a hillside complex, with the only access back out being to walk up a very steep driveway with steps. It's not that much of a downside as everything else is so good, but it is worth noting if you have mobility issues.
