  I had to make my own bed and it was discusting. I will never come back

  Liked: The employer was nice

  Disliked: Everything was terrible! To start, it was the first time in my life that I pay for a place were after arriving at 21h I still have to make my own bed. There was not even a hand towel or towels to take a shower. At this point, I’m thinking that maybe they forgot to finish preparing my room so I try to go to the reception to ask for towels and I have to pay for them. When I actually go and take a shower, the water starts running and I see hair from the previous person. When I open the bed, the mattress was completely orange and dirty. I definitely do not recommend this place. Completely disappointed.

  Liked: The accommodation was appropriate for its type—great, in our opinion. If you don’t want to walk uphill for about 30 minutes from the city center, you should look elsewhere. However, it is possible to arrange a taxi minibus for just a few euros. Thanks to its hilltop location, it is quiet and offers a lovely view amidst nature. If you are walking the Camino to Santiago, you can stay here (it’s right on the route). The main building includes a kitchen and a dining area where you can prepare whatever you need. We also enjoyed the view of the fireworks during our stay. Donostia is fantastic.
