Very comfortable stay, although a bit difficult to reach without a car

Liked: Lovely apartment, fantastic view, great terrace. Unfortunately it was also up a steep hill, and not easy to access public transport. So unless you have a car, shopping and going into town is hard work.

Disliked: I was not happy to download an app on my phone in order to get access to the building and apartment, since it exposes one to insecure activities in these days of AI.

  Compact apartment close to centre

Liked: Clean and quiet with great outdoor space. Walkable to centre, but bus and train nearby Aldi on the same street was a bonus

Disliked: Issue with no wine glasses and only 1 hand towel for 4 adults which were not addressed by host

Good-quality equipment, but serious security and access issues

Liked: The appliances were all very new, high-quality and worked perfectly.

Disliked: The smart locks raised serious security concerns. On one occasion, we returned to find our apartment door open, even though the owner said he had not sent anyone. This was very concerning. Also, the building entrance key did not work, and the owner’s response was not helpful.

San Sebastián is an amazing city with so much to see and do

Liked: Immaculately clean. Spacious Well equipped The owner responded quickly to any queries and provided details and pictures of how to access the property

Disliked: A little far out of the main city but a great bus service.. hopped on to the number 8 bus! The property is about half way up a very steep hill so you need to be fairly fit if you don’t have a car. Also initial access required an app which proved problematic for us but the owner let us in remotely! Subsequently we just used keys!
