  Bed bug hotel

  Liked: Check in and sleep was fine

  Disliked: We found a bedbug in the room. We showed staff and the most they would offer was a 25% refund (40€) for the night we stayed. Common practice is at least a full refund and some hotels even offer to cover dry cleaning. We couldn’t enjoy San Sebastián after that and it caused us significant stress on our honeymoon. When we got back we had to spend hours treating our clothing and items to make sure we didn’t bring any into our home. We wish we never stayed here.

  Great location for accessing the bus station

  Liked: This was great for a 1 night stay, when we were arriving & departing by bus. It's literally a 2 minute walk to the bus station, so convenient. The room was better than we were expecting, room for 2 bags, good comfortable bed & bathroom, air conditioned. The rooms are around a common area where there are shared facilities (fridge, kitchen, coffee machine & a snack machine). We were able to leave our bags there until our room was ready. The staff were really helpful & welcoming. As mentioned, the building & people hanging around it are not welcoming. So just be aware. They didn't cause us any trouble, but it is unsettling. There's also more than 1 entrance to the building, so if there's a gathering at one of the doors, walk around the building & you will find another. The rear entrance was always clear while we were there. And as others have also said, once you get inside it's a completely different feel. Modern & spacious.

  Disliked: The outside of the building - but we booked it fully aware so won't mark it down because of this.

  It was fine for our overnight stay

  Liked: The room we stayed in and the whole development of these rooms was brand new.

  Disliked: We arrived at 8.45pm and the rooms are in an old skyscraper block which was unusual to arrive at in the evening. As the reception is not open at that time we had a bit of a struggle getting in the block and were helped by another couple also staying in the rooms who arrived back just when we were struggling to get in. The area is quite different in the morning with a nice park nearby and convenient walking distance to the station in a few minutes.

  Riccardo was a fantastic host and manager

  Liked: Very comfortable stay close to the train and bus station. Riccardo was incredibly helpful which appreciated. He provided towels which we could take to the beach and recommended an amazing pintxos restaurant,

  Disliked: The building itself looks like it was build by the Soviet Union but inside was smart, modern and very comfortable,
