Can be fine for young students who don't care about old town or trips but for tourists - to avoid

Liked: Firstly, shared areas are quite acceptable to work during the day. There is a lot of space, so it is possible to remotely do something on computer. There are also some vending machines, snooker, ping pong, gym. There is also some quiet are when you really need silence, however until 15:00 there are a few people only. Secondly, room service is very helpful - they will give additional toilet paper or some tips.

Disliked: The biggest problem with that place is that it is sort of modern dormitory for students - it is not a hotel, but there is no cleaning, breakfasts like in a hotel. Let me list all disadvantages: - location from La Concha and restaurants or old town in general - if you are ready to do 5 km on bike in one way then it is fine. I like it but after couple of days it started to be disturbing to do 10 km (at least) per day. I do not want to dress in an elegant way and then sweat on bike to stay like this in a Michelin restaurant. - there are no shops nearby, closest is 10-15 minutes walk from object - Carrefour Express - if you want to do a day trip e.g Flysch you need to go to main bus station - again like 7 km to do cause of bad location - rooms - the biggest problem. Rooms are very small, too small for two people. It is impossible to open the window totally but just a little, which totally prevents from air circulation. In fact, air can't circulate at all there. The only option is to turn on air conditioning - it is only possible to switch it on or off, all settings are blocked. However, with air conditioning, cold air blows on your back or legs so you can't really leave it for night or when you leave - electricity turns off. - noise - Spanish people like to talk loudly and be prepared they will, all the time - all windows are heading to internal terrace with some chairs and tables below, so be prepared for shouting, laughs, cigarette's smoke coming to your room when window is open. When gym doors are open, it is even worse. - overpriced - place was simply to expensive for what it was offering - I booked it late before arrival, so had no time to search for something reasonable earlier. In San Sebastian apartments seem to be overpriced in general compared to standards they offer.

    Comfortable stay

Liked: It is small, basic dormitory type accommodation. Chose it for the value for money. It is clean, easy accessible with lifts and if you have a vehicle easy to get around. It has the basics that one will require.

Disliked: There are now restaurants or shops close by. Have to walk a bit or drive.

Good location for reasonable stay in San Sebastian

Liked: Very good option for a reasonably priced stay in San Sebastian. Room was fine for two people, mattress was comfortable, room was clean and kitchenette fine for simple cooking. Good access to city center by public bus (get a local card for cheap rate) and easy parking in neighbourhood (onsite parking costs 10euros per day).

Disliked: Heating and cooling centrally set, so not possible to set individually by room.

Liked: For SS it is relatively cheap. And there is a bus just in front that goes every hour to center of town. And other buses 10' away. It's rather direct 20' walk to train that connects to Hendaye.

Disliked: The kitchen implements are very minimal, no cutting board, only 2 pans, no toaster, no bread knife, etc. There are no restaurants or shops to buy food nearby. The corners of the shower has black mold.
