What is the Aqueduct of Segovia?

The Aqueduct of Segovia is the city’s great Roman aqueduct, some 2,000 years old, with more than 160 granite arches built without mortar. Its tallest section crosses the Plaza del Azoguejo, at the entrance to the old town, a World Heritage Site.

How to get there

City buses from the Segovia-Guiomar high-speed station, about 5 km away, reach the Azoguejo in about 15 minutes, and the bus station, with frequent services from Madrid, is five minutes’ walk away.
