  Nice hotel with great location - corrrecrion of misleading details would have increased our score

  Liked: Location, character with balcony, cleanliness of room. Easy access and check-in.

  Disliked: Property listing and noticeboard outside hotel stated that free buffet breakfast and mini bar included but no free breakfast provided nor free mini bar just a fridge for use. Teas and coffees in room only restocked once during 8 night stay. No milk provided for the sachets in room so had to purchase own.

  Disliked: When we arrived after a full day of hiking, there was no hot water, and no instructions on how to turn it on. We eventually say the boiler in the bathroom which had to be plugged in, then waiting an hour for there to be enough hot water. The bed was uncomfortable, leaning on one side. Walls very thin so we could literally hear our neighbours farting and coughing. Lastly, the floor was cleaned daily, but not dried or properly rinsed, so the floor had a constant moist slimy residue on it.

  Liked: Perfect for us, we were out cycling all day. We required somewhere clean and comfortable to stay. Where we could get cleaned up each evening and go out to eat. At the price point this hostel was perfect. Very central to facilities in small town.

  Disliked: Nothing to not like.

  A good base from which to explore the island

  Liked: The hostel was very good value for money. Our room was clean and larger than we expected. We let ourselves into the hostel and checked out before 7:00 am the following day. We didn't see any staff when we were there. The town of Alaro is a great place to access Palma and the mountains. We enjoyed the town and the bars and restaurants.

  Lovely place to stay for a while

  Liked: Alaró is a great location to start cycling trips not only to Tramuntana Mountains. The accomodation is located in the heart of the town, next to the main square, making it an ideal starting point for town exploration. The room's windows faced the quiet inner part of the block, which blocked out the evening traffic from the square. The positive atmosphere of the picturesque, cozy little hotel really lifted my spirits after arriving from Palma. Overall, the room was quiet and we didn't hear any noise from other guests.

  Disliked: The bed was a little too soft, but that's probably a matter of personal preference. Since all rooms are located upstairs, it is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
