  Old and basic, barely passable bungalows

  Liked: Good location - a short walk from the Port de Sóller bus stop and 10-minute walk from the beach, with some restaurants and supermarkets in between. Breakfast was okay, although not varied or abundant. Comfort of the bungalows is slightly better than sleeping under the bus stop shelter.

  Disliked: Very basic bungalows - no AC, no TV, no fridge, not even shampoo and only 1 soap for the whole stay. The bungalows are quite old, and even though they were clean, their age is very apparent - even the bed sheets were somewhat worn. Staff were unwelcoming - check in process was slow and tedious and you get hollered at if you try to pour juice or get some eggs by yourself at breakfast. Overall, not good value for money (not that Port de Sóller is a good value destination in the first place).

  Like an oasis

  Liked: Loved the junior suite, set in a real oasis away from the hustle and bustle

  Disliked: I had hear that even water in plastic bottles was not allowed at the pool side which seemed un fair if true?

  Overall very bad

  Liked: Location. The pool was nice.

  Disliked: If you are expecting a warm welcome think again, no smile nothing. The woman I guess is the owner does not seem friendly, kind or welcoming at all. She seems to be in a bad mood all the time and I did not see her smile. The room does not look as cozy as in the pictures. There are small bugs running around everywhere on the bathroom floor. No place in the bungalow to store cold drinks. No cold water in the bathroom. Our last night after we arrived from exploring Soller we ran low on toiletpaper, came down 30 minuts before the service closed to ask for toiletpaper. The woman seemed like it was a problem to find at that hour. Another thing, sadly the pool already closes at 8 in the evening. We only stayed for 3 nights instead of the total 6 nights booked.

  Liked: great location, nice place with lot of plants

  Disliked: Lacking airconditioning, sagging mattresses, lack of cold water. It felt also absurd to ask for every glass of water at breakfast (the drinks are not at free disposition, tha staff has to serve you).

  Avoid this place

  Liked: The pool area is nice and well looked after

  Disliked: Honestly cannot recommend anyone staying here. The staff have completely forgotten that they are there to help make this a nice stay and be service minded. Instead, their jobs consists mainly of enforcing all kinds of rules that apply at this place. Some examples of the rules; - Our daughter was not allowed to play with a small ball to the pool (3yo, playing super calm with her parents) - You are not allowed to bring any consumable food at all to the pool - not even water for a child. - when we checked in we were told our daughter wasn’t allowed to sleep in the same room as us - but had to sleep in grandmas cabin so that there wouldn’t be three people in one and 1 person in the other. Super weird and made us so anxious, they later changed their minds about this. - at breakfast there’s another whole set of rules, I carried my daughter the first day, they ran up to us and yelled because she didn’t have shoes on. She got scared and stressed… You’re also not allowed to pour your own juice, choose a table to sit at, or god forbid, finish eating an apple while walking out. All food has to stay in the restaurant. - at the pool we were even told off for opening an umbrella as a tree was blocking some of the sun already, we wanted full coverage for our child. Honestly think it’s not the staffs fault, I think they are stuck enforcing 100’s of rules created by an owner that forgot what service and kindness is all about. Finally, the bungalows don’t have aircon, wouldn’t recommend that to anyone as the heat can be extreme. No shampoo, fridge, hairdryer, kettle or any amenities at all in the rooms.
