Exceptional
La Morada is a great apartment in a place we’d love to return to
Liked: This is a really well appointed flat right in the centre of Artenara. There’s a lovely terrace that overlooks the spectacular volcanic landscape around Artenara - although always quite misty when we were there in late October. It was wonderful to have eight leaflets of local walks - we did two of them and would love to do more. There are great walking routes in the area with quite well-marked tracks. In late October the (few) restaurants close early at 18.00 so we didn’t have lunch and were hungry at 17.30. But facilities at the flat are good for cooking.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like. Pablo, who we never met, was responsive but absent. He might have been in Tibet, but tipped us off that a neighbour said we’d left our car lights on. So that saved us a battery disaster.
Liked: Amazing views! Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space:).
Disliked: The shower went cold after 5mins.
Liked: We wholeheartedly recommend this place! The owner is incredibly kind, helpful, and provides lightning-fast communication. The apartment is equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need, and the location is simply stunning. The view from both the bedroom and the terrace is without a doubt one of the most beautiful panoramas on the entire island. A huge plus is the hassle-free parking right in front of the house, as well as the air conditioning, which ensures a comfortable warmth even on cooler days. We will definitely be back!

Liked: Wonderful hikes accessible by walking from the property, great views of the mountains from the very sunny terrace, very clean. Artenara village was also very pretty and so peaceful - we really enjoyed our stay. Excellent value for money.
Disliked: No olive oil in the kitchen but we had brought our own anyway, and the hot water in the shower cuts off after quite a short shower - but it was on for just long enough. We drove up in the dark after our flight and the roads are quite steep and narrow with a lot of switch-backs - it was worth the drive though!
Liked: Amazing stay! Very well equipped, air-conditioned, the views are stunning! The owners are very helpful and welcoming!
