Exceptional
Beautiful hotel and neighbourhood, great location
Great hotel; but no parking and annoying toilet paper holders
Liked: Great location in the historic city centre. Well maintained building. Good breakfast.
Disliked: The toilet paper holders were really annoying. The rolls kept slipping if the bar and falling onto the floor. The view out of the window reminded me of the slums in Capetown. Contrary to what was promised in Booking.com, there was no parking at the hotel.
Liked: We had a wonderful and unforgettable stay at this hotel! The hospitality was exceptional, and the whole team made us feel so welcome and well looked after. A special thank you to the Reception and Housekeeping teams for their kindness, friendliness, and attention to detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their genuine care made all the difference. Thank you for making our stay so special. We leave with lovely memories and would happily return. Highly recommended! ❤️
Lovely old hotel but quite pricy
Liked: Lovely old historic hotel in the centre of town.
Disliked: Quite old style rooms in need of renovation Expensive for the experience. No tea or coffee facilities.
Liked: The staff was great and the facilities were also nice.
Disliked: Wierd "bumps" on the corridor, little bit worn room.
Liked: Fabulous breakfast, comfy bed and lovely rooms
