Exceptional
Good location but never again
Liked: Location, lift available, car park nearby
Disliked: Although the owner begged me to give 10/10, I’m afraid I can’t because of - 1. Irresponsible behaviour - Even though check-in instructions were supposed to be shared at noon of our arrival day, there were no communications from the owner and all of my interactions to ask him for check-in instructions and the confirmation of my booking were completely ignored. As I had no idea what happened to my booking, I had to sacrificed my time to start looking for another accommodation for the night. He eventually sent me check-in details at 16:30 without any reasons for the delay or apologies. 2. Abandoned missing door seals of the shower booth - Even though several guests have already mentioned this for a few years, the issue is still existent. A large water leak to the floor was inevitable and we had to mop the floor every time we used it. 3. Abandoned the broken blind of the bedroom - Again, though a few people have pointed it out already, it was not fixed and disturbed our sleep. 4. Slow Wi-Fi - it was too slow to use. With several reviews mentioning it here for years, seemingly the issue wouldn’t be solved.

Exceptional
Perfect pied a terre in Ubeda
Liked: It was super conveniently located for the historic sights of Ubeda, the beds were very comfortable, the showers had excellent pressure and the Aircon/heating was controllable for each room individually. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need to prepare simple meals and the owner was quick to replace an apparently malfunctioning fridge so that we didn't have a problem.
Disliked: Only a couple of tiny things - either the TV could be mounted higher on the wall so that you could view it without having to push the coffee table out of the way as the table is in direct line of sight at the moment or replace the coffee table with a lower table (we didn't watch the TV so it didn't matter to us). And, as tea-loving Brits, we had to buy mugs to drink our tea from as there are only small espresso coffee cups in the cupboard.
