  Extremely disappointing experience

  Disliked: Extremely disappointing experience, especially because of the owner’s attitude and the way our cancellation was handled. We travelled with our two children, aged 7 and 9, during July, when temperatures reached around 42°C, so having convenient access to a swimming pool was very important to us. Only after arriving did we discover that the advertised pool was actually the municipal swimming pool, located approximately eight minutes away by car, and not a pool at or next to the property. We arrived at the property, but after discovering that important information in the listing did not correspond to what we had reasonably understood when booking, we immediately requested to cancel the reservation. According to the cancellation conditions applicable at that moment, we should only have been charged for the first night. However, despite the fact that we physically arrived and spoke directly with the owner, the reservation was later marked as a “no-show.” This was simply not true. In my opinion, it was done so that we would lose the entire amount paid and would no longer be able to claim the remaining money back. We did not stay at the property for even one night, yet the owner kept the full payment. During our subsequent discussions, he showed no real willingness to understand our situation or reach a fair compromise. Instead, he repeatedly placed all responsibility on us, suggested that we were trying to take advantage of him or stay for free, and even claimed that reviews could easily be bought for €100 while expressing confidence that mine would eventually disappear. I found this attitude deeply insulting and unprofessional.

  Liked: Everything was fantastic. The apartment was lovingly decorated and had everything we needed, the host Melchor Tito went above and beyond to ensure we were happy, and the tour of the pottery workshop was an amazing bonus!

  Horrible! Didn't match the description. No family friendly. Avoid!

  Pick this accomodation when visiting Ubeda (If you can)

  Liked: The fantastic small apartment is full of hand-made art by the host himself! It's like living inside a gallery. Melchor was always there and really helped us with organizing the oil factory visits.

  terrible experience and owner will not admit his mistake

  Liked: nothing much, not at all what the write up said we booked a place with hot tub and spa facilities it had neither

  Disliked: the place was like a museum, you couldn’t move for all the furniture and stuff. Not at all suitable for families. said breakfast included which is not true its a welcome pack, also we booked a place with hot tub and it clearly does not have that or the spa facilities it boasted in the write up. and to top it off neither booking or the owner will take responsibility and refund our money as we inly stayed one night, that due to booking telling us not to leave until we had heard from them and not calling us back.
