  Better double glazing to keep noise out

  Liked: Location very good, nice vibe although a bit noisy, could do with better window insulation to keep noise out

  Friendly host, great value for money

  Liked: The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and clean (a bit weary). There’s plenty of room even after the sofa bed is unfolded. It has two small balconies facing the street and a small rear patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including a kettle, microwave, and coffee maker. The location is excellent: the market is just around the corner, and there are shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The Old Town is a longer but pleasant walk of about 20 minutes. Public transportation is also excellent; you can reach the Malvarosa beach and the Oceanographic without transferring. (Public transportation is well-organized and easy to navigate throughout Valencia.) Sandra is a very kind and helpful host. She responded quickly to all our questions, both before and after our arrival. She was flexible in accommodating our request for an early check-in.

  Disliked: Keep in mind, that the apartment’s central location also means it isn’t quiet: noise from restaurant terraces and the street can be heard until late at night, and the garbage truck passes by several times a day to empty the bins in front of the building. While we were there, there was also a flea market in the surrounding streets, which the vendors were setting up loudly starting early in the morning.

  Liked: Really nice flat in a very fun, lively neighborhood - close to both train stations so it's easy to get there. We appreciated the terrace and laundry machine as well. Sandra met us at the apartment in person and helped explain everything which was really appreciated. We would come back for sure.

  Great location with some maintainance problems

  Liked: Great location, close to shopping, the market, and transportation. Large apartment, good kitchen and storage (2 people only). Lots of light. Kitchen w many useful appliances w hot water heater, microwave, nice stove, and a moka pot. It was nice to be in what was clearly someone’s home. Property manager (not owner) Sandra was very nice; she met us at the property and gave us great local restaurant recommendations.

  Disliked: When we entered the property it was very cold (winter) and 3 out of 6 radiators not working. Took 2 days to get up to temperature. Hygiene only middling- ants in kitchen, silverfish bugs in bathroom. Place needs a deep cleaning. No clean kitchen sponges. Multiple lights not working. We purchased a replacement bulb ourselves. Owner was unresponsive to above heat problems and also did not respond when a bathroom faucet handle broke. Owner did not respond to update that hand soap supply was out. Manager Sandra was quick to acknowledge our above concerns, but could only pass them on to the owner who did not respond or initiate repairs.

  OK, good location but expensive for what it is

  Liked: Nice location and good size apartment.

  Disliked: Heating was not great as some radiators did not work. Windows are Not soundproof so can be noisy. Terrace is not very nice. Overpriced in my opinion. Could use a full renovation.
