  A disappointing experience on birthday

  Liked: The location

  Disliked: The receptionist was extremely rude! It was my husband's birthday. After we checked in, my kids(aged 30!) who were staying in a different hotel wanted to come and surprise their dad. It was 18:30. I gave them the entry code of the hotel main entrance because normally there is noone after 18:00, so they could come in to surprise their dad. As they entered the code, the receptionist came from inside and started SCREAMING at them and told them that they were violating the hotel rule(!) and that they were not allowed to come in!! They told her that it is a birthday surprise. She has made a big scene and a very RUDE one for no reason. She finally agreed to accompany them to our room. Our kids arrived in a terrible mood, having been yelled at by this rude lady! The whole surprise birthday mood was ruined!! Also there is No door for the toilet in the room. not a comfortable use.

  Magical stay at an amazing hotel in beautiful Vejer de la Frontera

  Liked: Absolutely amazing hotel, in fact the best we have ever stayed in. A feeling of calmness hits you as walk in the door. Smelt beautiful, natural colours. Immaculately clean, simple but utterly gorgeous. Our room, looked out onto the street and also the outside lounge area. Bath salts, simple elegant touches everywhere, we literally did not want to leave. Staff friendly, attentive but not intrusive at all well done to everyone who made our trip everything we wished for. The icing on the cake was a sunny rooftop terrace with plunge pool. Breakfast was delicious aswell and use of the kitchen was great. We even received a bottle of wine in our room, saying ‘ thank you for choosing us’ a what a treat and totally unexpected, thank you again! Thank you for the most amazing stay in beautiful Vejer, a truly wonderful hotel. We will be back.

  a nice relaxing quiet environment

  Liked: the location was perfect, just a minuets walk to the main square, located to nearby shops and cafes, the staff are friendly, and the other guests where quiet and polite.

  Disliked: the room we was staying in had a window at street level, in the mornings you could hear the occasional vehicle passing.
