  Liked: Truly amazing apartment and location!

  Disliked: Despite the apartment exceeding our expectations and being truly amazing, the online check-in beforehand was a bit strange. We had to sign a separate contract with Rental Benidorm which included mainly weird parts about noise monitoring. In the end, it was all fine, but surely no one likes the idea of being monitored or even recorded. The area was pretty new, so I understand why cameras and noise detection would be security measures and precautions to prevent tensions with the other residents. However, making customers sign a contract outside of booking.com and leaving no explanation which areas of the facility are being recorded or monitored is definitely not ideal. Upon arrival, we saw that the cameras in the apartment are covered, as far as we could see, and we were ensured that there are no microphones for noise monitoring in any rooms of the apartment. But then, why did we need to sign this contract in the first place? Better communication would help here.

  Disliked: When you are being watched by cameras in private areas, hardly anyone will like it. All other shortcomings of accommodation and services are no longer important. The most surprising thing is that no one even apologised for this. We are not even talking about compensation. Perhaps the Spanish regulator responsible for GDPR will look into this matter with greater attention.

  Great stay in a beautiful luxurious place, but missing that personal touch

  Liked: The location, the quality of the house and the decorations, the view, the facilities (pool, jacuzzi, long chairs, garage), proximity to hiking locations. There was a TV in each room, plus one in the main living area.

  Disliked: There were some missing items such as hand towels in the bathrooms, kitchen towels. We felt the house was missing that personal touch you get when the host is directly in charge of the rental. Drinking water from the fridge broke down during our stay and there was no attempt to fix it The elevators were not working on the day we left and we had to carry our luggage on the stairs.

  Absolutely amazing

  Liked: Although the penthouse was in a development area, there was hardly any noise from the building site. Olga met us at the property and explained all the beautiful amenities in the penthouse, the fact there was drinking water on tap and a hot water tap was a bonus, no need to buy bottled water. The penthouse was breathtaking and all the facilities and amenities far exceeded our expectations.

  Disliked: I couldn't find a single fault with the penthouse. The location, the views from the balcony were fantastic. The photos on booking.com don't do the penthouse justice, you really have to see this place to believe it.

  This was a last minute stay to break our trip home from our hoilday, it’s was simply stunning the location and apartment

  Liked: The property was amazing, Comfortable, clean extremely well decorated and equipped with all we needed. The views are incredible

  Disliked: Only issue of which we notified the key holder was the aircon leaked.
