  Stayed two years in row and will be back next year again

  Liked: Not our first stay here and likely will come back again. Location is superb to our liking, get a nice routine with church bells waking you up at 9AM and finalising day in the bar right across from the hotel. This time there was an issue with AirCon for the whole building at times turning off, but staff is aware and repairs are coming. For our stay later in a week we got upgraded to another of their hotels so aircon was not an issue.

  Disliked: The square has quite some acoustic, but nothing crazy.

  Liked: The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Nice room and nice location in the old town at the Plaza d`Iglesia.

  Disliked: The air condition was turned off by the hotel or not working most of the time even though the temperature was very high during more than half the stay. I got a different room with working air con at the sister hotel for the last 3 of in total 17 days. The breakfast in a nice cafè close by was ok with a friendly staff, but a bit dissapointing that the cafè did not order enough croissants which therefore most days was reserved for the regular paying clients not coming from the hotel.

  I highly recommend visiting Villajoyosa, charming town with the excellent beach

  Liked: Excellent location, central but quiet, not big but very nice room with a balcony and spectacular view on the old square. Kettle and mini-ref in the room. The air condition didn't work at nights but the staff gave us a late check-out free of charge as a small compensation for inconvenience. We stayed in October and were sleeping with open window.

  Could have been perfect…

  Liked: Location was perfect and comfortable for our needs.

  Disliked: Fix your Air conditioner now! The room would have been perfect if it wasn’t so hot in the room.

  A great location - but a bit chilly!

  Liked: The location was great and easy to check in with regular communication through WhatsApp. There was a message to let us know when the room was available which meant we could check in earlier. I thought the breakfast was good with a selection of meats and cheese.

  Disliked: We had a note on the wall saying that we couldn't change the air con settings because the machine was faulty which meant we had to get jumpers on and duvets (that were provided) to sleep under. It was 34⁰ degrees outside but the air con was freezing during the night in the room.
