  Fabulous hotel - great facilities - good food (fab breakfast buffet for 8 euros)

  Liked: Exceptionally clean. Large, well-equipped rooms with microwave, tv, fridge freezer. A fabulous gym, jacuzzi, indoor pool, sauna, sky bar - just wow!

  With a little bit of effort and attention to detail, could be exceptional

  Disliked: Extremely late check-in. They were supposed to let me know when I could check-in but never did. The curtains of the room were opaque and I was unable to close the blinds which was very odd. The room was on the second floor and faced the street with bright street lights. Also, the lift was out of order.

  One of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in!

  Liked: The location was convenient, and the swimming pool was a nice bonus. A couple of staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the manager's openness to feedback and suggestions for improvement. Otherwise, I would have given it just one star.

  Disliked: Advertised as a hostel, but not equipped like one – and zero respect for privacy! I stayed in the female dorm for almost a week and a half, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place as a hostel. The dorm is essentially a regular hotel room crammed with multiple beds, without basic hostel facilities: no individual power outlets or reading lights, no kitchen, and initially no fridge, despite one being advertised on Booking.com. The manager acknowledged these shortcomings and explained that improvements were being made gradually. Yet they continue selling dorm beds without providing the basic facilities guests would reasonably expect. Even more concerning was the complete lack of privacy. Staff members, including men, repeatedly entered the female dorm without knocking, seemingly without considering that guests might be changing. Housekeeping, on the other hand, was rarely seen. The service was often disorganised and unwelcoming. Even getting hot water for tea required repeated requests. When I finally received a kettle, a receptionist simply took it away without saying a word on my departure day, even though I was still using it. Check-in procedures also seemed inconsistent, with some guests receiving towels or restaurant vouchers while others did not. The overall atmosphere felt strangely unwelcoming, with several staff members appearing disengaged or unmotivated. To be fair, the manager listened to my concerns and arranged for a fridge to be placed in the room, and a couple of staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful. Bottom line: If you expect a properly equipped dorm, basic privacy, and a welcoming hostel experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

  Excellent hotel in a wonderful location Great facilities and a lovely breakfast

  Liked: The facilities were excellent (pool, Jacuzzi, gym,) and a great location on the quiet side of the town. The breakfast was an additional charge (8 euros) but was well worth it. Also an outside pool and a few sunbeds. There is a sky bar on the rooftop good for afternoon/evening drinks.

  Disliked: Noise from the next room in the early hours. The lift was not working.
