Liked: The rooms are excellent and beautiful. Location is fantastic

Disliked: The room was filthy. The issue was not resolved effectively and my messages to the customer service were sometimes ignored.

First time in Villajoyosa. Very Spanish and pretty

Disliked: A parasol up at the roof terrace would have been good as you couldn't possibly sit on the sun beds provided without cover. A little stool/s to sit on whilst on the balcony.

  Loved it!

Liked: Loved the place design, comfort it truly has it all and we felt at home. Asthetics, surroundings, bird sounds very exactly what we needed.

Disliked: There is contruction ongoing and the sound was disturbing. There is also smell we felt from the bathroom as the apartment was on the -1 floor.

  Shit

Liked: It was clean but that was about it. There wasn’t a coffee machine at the property when we eventually got in. The code they emailed me didn’t work. After calling several times they eventually answered. No sincere apology. Next morning power cut. Tried calling - no answer. Messaged the host, they said they were trying to locate the problem. Didn’t see one electrician close to the property all day. After making an official complaint to Booking.com I was told they would resolve the issue and get me compensation. Within a couple of hours I received a full refund. There was no power the whole day, and then I decided to book into another place around the corner. After packing our things again and moving to the next place we received a msg from the Pau Suites saying the power should be back on by 8pm.. it would be dark by then. We’re already ahead and booked into a new property that actually has power.. and then they offer to give us another room across town. Tbh it was far too little too late in the day. I’d score them a minus (less than 0 out of 10) for their sheer lack of care. The refund was well received, but there was no real sense of urgency in fixing the power. Utterly awful as far as customer care or hospitality is concerned. Never again lol!

  Disliked: See the above
