Exceptional
Fantastic apartment, congenial hosts and we would definitely stay there again
Liked: The standard of accommodation was excellent, very modern and clean. We loved the hammock and balcony. The location is a short walk from Interlaken West or East. We were pleased there was a Nespresso machine. The balcony gives an excellent view across mountains, Harder Kulm, the colourful paragliders and the City Train which often uses that route past. The recycling facilities were good and there were plenty of towels/ tea towels available. An extra basket of these was provided about halfway through our stay, and included complimentary chocolates which was very thoughtful. The apartment is very spacious. Two fans were provided which was useful in the heatwave. Communications with the host were pleasant.
Disliked: Just some signage from the road for Ahorn being part of the Landhaus building would have made it a little easier to find. Once we did find it we realised it was actually very obvious.

Excellent, comfortable stay with beautiful view in convenient location
Liked: Initially, we went to the wrong door. The directions sent for the door code and where to find the keys were clearly marked. We loved the location - 10-15 minute walk to a quieter neighborhood. The neighborhood itself was down the street from a nice market and restaurants. The unit was very clean, everything was clearly marked, place was well-stocked. The terrace and view was beautiful. Nice place to enjoy a morning coffee, people watch, stretch, read. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great pressure. The tap is clean drinking water. There is no AC (which is common) so sleeping with the windows open and the fans made it comfortable. The manager is accessible and helpful. I look forward to returning someday!

Excellent apartment apart from lack of privacy issue for me
Liked: Easy key collection and communication with the owners was excellent. Very clean indeed and well equipped apartment, quite close to the station - about a 10 minute walk away on level ground for most, we're elderly and it took about 15 minutes for us. A bus goes from nearby to the station regularly but we didn't bother to wait for it. It is a very expensive taxi ride - presumably because everything in Switzerland is expensive - but it cost 20 francs when we arrived, and 18 francs when we left as it was too far to walk with our luggage. That's a lot of money for a very short taxi ride - the same road as you'd walk on, not a long journey due to one-way systems or anything like that.
Disliked: Just one thing which wouldn't bother a lot of people but for me it was unacceptable - there are no curtains in the property, just dark nets. There are shutters on the 'downstairs' bedroom window to block out light, but the living room and other bedroom didn't seem to have shutters so when the light is on, passers-by can see straight in. Indeed the house across the road would have a great view in as well, including the bedroom when the door to the living room is open. Anyone driving past can see straight in as well. A lovely apartment, but we wouldn't return because of the lack of privacy at night. If this doesn't bother you, I highly recommend though, a lovely apartment very convenient for the railway station.
Liked: Very homey feeling. Well equipped kitchen! The laundry facilities were also very useful. Very near coop grocery for your meal requirements. Just a KM away from Jnterlaken OST.
