  Unique stay in a Vintage Hotel

  Liked: Carlton Europe is a very historic and vintage hotel. I got an unexpected room upgrade which was awesome and the staff is very helpful and informative.

  Great location, excellent breakfast, weird bathroom situation

  Liked: Great location, walking distance from the Interlaken-Ost station, Harder-Klum cable car, Lake Spiez boat dock, restaurants, downtown etc. The hotel had one of the best breakfasts I’ve had, so many options to choose from, even vegetarian-friendly items. We did not an early checkin but did receive an upgrade which was much appreciated. The suite was spacious, bed was comfortable and had a kitchenette which was helpful. The balcony also had a lovely view. The one annoying feature was a shower curtain in the bathtub and the shower was literally inside the bedroom without any partition between the wet area and floor. So every time we took a shower, the room flooded. Why this architectural choice was made is questionable because everything else was great at the hotel. Apart from the shower situation, excellent stay.

  Very good place to stay. Would stay there again when we are in Interlaken

  Liked: The location was near the Interlaken OST station, it was very convenient for taking early train no matter to Luzern or grindwald.

  Disliked: Maybe the bathroom can add the curtain on the windows.

  very pleasant

  Liked: the breakfast was very nice, the location is perfect and the room had a beautiful view:-) The staff was very helpful, they helped us plan what to see and how to travel.

  Disliked: there was no vanity kit, dental kit, body lotion and hair conditioner in the room, when i requested for a dental kit they charged me almost 4 euros for it and the kit was below basic. which should be included in the room.
