Very good
Calm, neat peaceful stay with great breakfast
Liked: The location, the peacefulness and the great breakfast. Also the staff and team really helped us in rescheduling a non refundable booking. The room and facilities are exactly as shown in the images provided. Location was well accessible even without a vehicle with nearby supermarket and other facilities as well.
Disliked: The non availability of lift and gloominess of the area. Even though lift was not available, the staffs were ready to take our luggages to room, which we hesitated. Another confusion was the bathroom was shared and also the bed provided was two beds kept together which was a little trouble at night as they can slip away to both sides.
Good clean room in good location with shared bathroom
Liked: The room and shared bathroom were very clean, the room looked cozy and cute and actually much better than in the pictures. It is a 'sister hostel' of a nearby larger hotel which provided breakfast in the morning and there is a receptionist there. The location was good, close to Interlaken and about 10 mins walk from the Wilderswil train station. The staff were friendly and there was always something at reception during the day if you need something.
Disliked: Minor points: You cannot use a kettle in the room (in fact kettle was not provided) due to the wood used to construct the building. The breakfast was good but mostly cold food and not a good selection of vegetarian options. And cash only for the tourist tax (but you can go to the ATM at the station and the staff were understanding and allowed us to pay it the next day). The thing that bothered us more was that the soundproofing in the rooms is poor, you can hear every time neighbours go in/out of their rooms/bathroom and you can hear people talking quite clearly.

Great spot to base yourself in the Alps!
Liked: The staff were really great and helpful, and the restaurant at the hotel has exceptional food! Wilderswil is a great spot to use as a base. Accom is about a 10 min walk from the train but there is a semi regular bus you can hop on if timing suits.
Disliked: No aircon or fans which was tough in summer. Also no form of kitchenette or utensils in the room which didn’t bother us too much but I do wish we had at least a fridge to keep drinks cold.
A nice stop before the mountains
Liked: It is a lovely Swiss Chalet and a great place to stop on the way to the mountains
Disliked: Very quaint and historic Friendly staff. Christian was welcoming and helpful
