Very good
Liked: All over
Liked: Great location and reception staff, but discriminatory treatment at dinner overshadowed my stay.
Disliked: Great location and reception staff, but discriminatory treatment at dinner overshadowed my stay.
Overall great place to stay!
Liked: Aesthetically lovely place to stay. Close to the train station, has mountain views. The breakfast was the most amazing!
Lovely 2-day treat to ourselves
Liked: The view, the room, the staff. I asked for a mountain view, got a pretty local mountain view with the river included. When we asked a breakfast waitress if she would take our photo (the stay was our Golden Wedding anniversary treat to ourselves), she and another waitress took us into another room with beautiful views, and took several shots, as well as some of the lovely views from the buffet room window. Big bedroom, very comfortable bed.
Disliked: A little 'faded grandeur' - dusty carpets, cobwebs in the bathroom, a double wardrobe in the bedroom with no hangers (although great wardrobe space in the hallway).
Best location for access to the train station
Liked: Great location. Excellent breakfast. Super helpful staff. An overall excellent experience.
Disliked: Nothing
