  Top price performance ratio in excellent location

  Liked: Small modern self-service hotel in an excellent location. Good breakfast. Nice balcony and superb views. Self-service keys via mobile phone and weblink needed a little bit of patience but worked for us.

  Disliked: We never got an answer to a small special request made while booking.

  Liked: Check-in was incredibly easy. I only had to use my phone to unlock the front door and my room door so I didn’t have to interact with any staff. The only staff I interacted with was woman who cleaned the breakfast spread. The room was well air conditioned and had black out shutters, which I appreciated for a good nights rest during these hot summer days. The bed was extremely comfortable and the comforter was the perfect weight. The pillows were quite flat though. The location was only 1 block off of the water, which was perfect after dinner and drinks. The breakfast spread was extensive and I found many options that were agreeable. There was also a lovely coffee machine with lots of options.

  Disliked: The staff was quite scarce, so if I had a problem I would not have known who to contact. The room was great, except the pillows were quite flat.

  Great stay

  Liked: Very well located in the middle of Ascona only about 50 meters from the piazza. Self-check in worked perfectly fine. Rooms are well equipped and especially the AC makes it very comfortable during summer. Breakfast is super nice with a great selection.
