Very pleasant stay between Ascona and Locarno city centres

Liked: A small room with everything… including snacks and great homemade jam. Parking right in front.

Disliked: Entrance vegetation and shade attracts many mosquitoes.

Good apartment for not hot days

  Liked: Near bus station. Clean.

Disliked: It is very hot summer days (34 C). The apartment is on the second floor(top floor) of the house. The owner live on the first floor. It was a bit hot. The apartment does not have air conditioner. But they provided two electric fans. One is good and quite. The other fan is a little bit noisy.

Best place to stay in Locarno

Liked: I liked everything! The apartment was super cosy, clean, with a nice terrace in a quiet area. The hosts, Nanda and her husband, are amazing people, very friendly and welcoming. I loved Nanda's homemade jams! I will definitely visit them again.

Always Great To Have A Stay Where The Host Lives On Site

Liked: 4.5 stars A very friendly on site host. Spotlessly clean and a large airy space that was well appointed and all very comfortable. The host also supplied some wine, milk, butter and jams, etc; which were all much appreciated. A very comfortable bed The just off street, free car parking was an important reason for our booking.

Disliked: No microwave or washing machine; but we knew this when we booked. An extra tourist tax (not mentioned in Booking.com) was required. The stairs to upstairs were also known about when we made the booking. None of these should detract though from such a recommended stay.
