  Excellent stay in beautiful Ticino

Liked: Well-maintained facilities, exceptionally clean room, beautiful view of the lake from the window, there’s a mini bar with free drinks (water, beer, lemonade) in the room. There’s a coffee machine in lobby with reasonable prices for hot drinks and free hot water. Good location of the property: 5 minutes walk to the train station and to the lake, 10 minutes walk to Lidl. The area is really beautiful. It’s really nice to walk along the lake to Locarno. They provide Ticino tickets (for each person) that allows to travel by public transport for free, including a boat to the other side of the lake (from Locarno to Magadino and back), and discounts on many sights (just check on their website). In general, the hotel offers a good value for money.

Disliked: The only disturbing thing was a strange noise from the mini bar. It starts once in several minutes as a series of quiet loud and harsh sounds as someone harshly strikes the surface of the mini bar. It’s really annoying during the night.

  Fantastic hospitality!

Liked: The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well equipped. Location was fantastic.

Disliked: The car workshop next door was a little noisy in the morning. But not a deal breaker.
