Liked: The balcony sea view, cleanliness, helpful
Dodgy Flat
Liked: the exta large TV with Netflex..
Disliked: the street noise.. Trucks from the port very noise.. Flat was unfinished and not renovated as advertised.. e.g. one bed leg was missing and chocked up with 3 pieces of wood.. kitchen tap over sink loose.. light bulbs missing in main light..very dodgy work with plumbing and wiring...
Brilliant, shabby chic contained flat with Brilliant sea views, close to town
Liked: absolutely wonderful stay here, such a wonderful reception from our hosts colleague, lots of useful info about things to do, just so friendly, bed exceptionally comfortable, host could not do more. sadly shower hose had leak, but we worked around it and they pulled out all the stops for us xxx brilliant service

Okay for a short stay
Liked: * The Hosts are flexible and easygoing. with room choices. * The location, walking distance of the Harbour and local businesses.
Disliked: Some rooms need maintenance, especially the bathroom.
Cheap and not cheerful but close to the ferry
Liked: We chose this place because of the location being less than 100m from the ferry port. We also found it was about the same distance to the start of the White Cliffs walk.
Disliked: The room we had was at the top of the house, it is 3 properties run as one. The first property we waited in seemed to have long term residents and it smelt strongly of weed. Our room was in the property next door and the building was in better shape but not much. We had a sitting area and kitchen and a separate bedroom. The beds were uncomfortable and the bed linen tired. In the morning our kitchen area also smelt strongly of marijuana wafting up from below.
