Fabulous
Wonderful cosy staycation with young children and a dog!
Liked: Clean, very comfortable and cosy cottage. With three young children and our dog, this was the perfect little staycation. Short drive to Gyllyngvase beach and Falmouth town centre. The facilities were brilliant and the bath was huge! Kids loved it.
Disliked: Turning into the driveway was a bit tight but we were made aware beforehand and it was entirely manageable

Liked: Great central location, Loved the bathroom.
Disliked: Strong smell of damp. Every door in the property is a fire door, so wakes everyone up when every door is opened! Bonkers! Also arrived and couldn't open our wine as there was no corkscrew! The host brought one over when we asked the next day. 2nd night tried to light the woodburber but no matches in the property. Uncomfortable sofa and no low lighting in the living room. The lane to the property and parking area is impractical.
Liked: We liked the fact that was this is a place with a real attitude: the walls left bare at places, the creaking doors, the carved cabinets were all in perfect tune with the atmosphere of Penryn.
Disliked: The lack of warm water (and heating) in the beginning could have been prevented by a last-minute check before our check-in. But the way the issue was handled was appreciated.
Lovely place, close to amenities. Host was very friendly and helpful
Liked: It was quaint and spacious
Disliked: It smelled musty, but that soon went with a bit of airing. Unfortunately the boiler was broken so no hot water. But the host offered us use of their showers.
Liked: Cottage very well appointed. Clean, comfortable 👌
Disliked: Tricky to find.
