Exceptional
Beautiful views and wonderful location for Falmouth town
Liked: The view from the property is stunning. You are right on the sea/estuary front. I wish I had brought my paddle board as you could launch from the back of the property. You are minutes from the High Street bars and shops so amazing location. The apartment guide is great to let you know places to eat and drink. Things to do etc.
Disliked: The car parking space is very tight (nothing owners fault but worth considering if you have a big car).
Disgusting state of disrepair and cleanliness for the shocking nightly rate, avoid
Liked: The location and being able to get to the high street. Access to a parking spot. That is it. It was disgusting - see below.
Disliked: The standard of cleanliness at the accommodation was atrocious, we found it disgusting and it looked like it had not been cleaned properly for a while. Hair (and other old food bits) in the fridge so we didn’t use the kitchen at all, not even to make a cup of tea in the morning (which would have been nice). The bedroom smelt musty and dirty. The lounge smelt musty and was dusty. The bathroom was very dirty, the floor had dirt marks on it so had to put extra towels down just to have somewhere to put my feet. The sink plug hole was rusty and the tap leaked. The bathroom window was mouldy. The shower cubicle had mould in it. I felt very unclean in the accommodation, especially the bathroom and bedroom and thought the price changed for the two nights in your accommodation was shockingly high given the state of disrepair and dirt. Also offered a discount on my next stay BEFORE I had even checked in and then emails and texts afterwards to offer a discount on your next stay. Complained about the standard of the accommodation and was not offered a refund.
We wish we had spent more time in this fab duplex
Liked: Just fabulous location adjacent to restaurants, Falmouth centre, ferry to St Mawe's. Very special indeed with great comfort and access to swim in the harbour.Would love to return again.
Disliked: You would need to be capable of walking up the steps to the town centre which offers a short cut otherwise it is fine to walk an inclined road way to the adjacent restaurants and gastro pub.
A comfortable stay with a perfect view
Liked: The location is stunning and the owners have provided everything you could need. The balcony, is there perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee.
Disliked: The only way to improve would be to add a dishwasher.
A lovely house, we’ll be back
Liked: The balcony on the seafront was brilliant as were the views over the harbour. The house came with everything we needed and location wise was a minute up the steps into the town centre. When we had queries about the property they were answered immediately which was great and the whole check in process was really quick and trouble free.
Disliked: It was all great, zero complaints.
Liked: Fantastic position, hosts were very attentive when needed, thanks guys
