Exceptional
Anna was a most gracious host who welcomed us to our apartment. She had made it very comfortable
A great home from home and an excellent base for exploring the Falmouth area
Liked: Great apartment, spacious and well appointed. The host, Anna, had provided milk and a bottle of wine, and a well stocked cupboard with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and lots of additions such as a range of condiments. The bed is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is great with fridge, freezer, tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave and toaster and all the mod cons, even an airfryer! The bathroom was excellent with plenty of towels, toiletries and a very nice walk-in shower and even beach towels. There is also a private patio area. To top it off there is a good sea view. Our host, Anna, was great - responding immediately to questions about local places and exploration options. Anna has provided a very useful guide for her guests A great place to stay, and we will be delighted to return.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like. It is perhaps useful to mention that Falmouth is hilly. The Inlet is above the town and the sea so great for walking albeit up and down some inclines. Jacobs Ladder is a fabulous flight of 111 steps (but is optional). There are virtually flat walking routes to the station and to the beaches, and a bus up the hill from the town centre if one has had a tiring day! The circular bus is brilliant for access to the main attractions - town centre, and the main beaches.
Very enjoyable, hassle free, relaxing weekend
Liked: Comfortable, clean apartment with friendly host that was walkable to both town centre and beach.
A perfect, well appointed apartment with evrey imaginable comfort
Liked: The property is on a quiet residential street with a wonderful view over the scenic Falmouth harbour and estuary. It is a few minutes walk from the town centre - all downhill - but be aware it's all uphill going back. One needs to be reasonably mobile and well to do this, but we were told that a 24/7 local taxi firm was available. The property itself is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly want, and may have forgotten, in a range of neat cupboards. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. There is a large, comfortable living room overlooking the bay. The bathroom is also spacious with a large shower cubicle. There is a small outdoor sitting area in a paved area which seats two and has been made attractive with plants.
Disliked: Absolutely no faults to mention. But do be aware of the location on the hill.
Beautiful apartment in easy walking distance of town
Liked: Beautiful and extremely comfortable accommodation in an excellent location for exploring the area. Sea views and easy walking distance to town centre. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely lovely, would've stayed forever if I could
Liked: Couldn't have been happier with my stay at the Inlet! It's even better than the pictures - very stylish and so comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, but the walk into town only takes a few minutes, so the balance is perfect. The view from the front room is fantastic. The flat was very well stocked with tea, coffee and snacks, too! The host is incredibly sweet and accommodating. I hope to be able to stay here again.
