  Exceeded expectations and details showed a lot of thought and care

  Liked: Pretty well everything about the property and the presentation. Milk in the fridge and scones with homemade strawberry jam and cream - a very welcome and positive gesture.

  Disliked: The road to the clubhouse. The clubhouse itself. The poor range of things on sale in the shop. Variable TV reception. (Nothing to do with the property itself)

  Excellent place to stay

  Liked: It was in a beautiful place and in between 2 dog friendly beaches

  Disliked: The property was beautifully styled. Everything looked perfect, fresh flowers and plants 🪴. It had everything we needed.

  Liked: The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, and clean and tidy. We loved the furnishings. The location of the cottage set amongst gardens was pleasant. We only had a short stay so didn't use the clubhouse, or gym and plunge pool (although both were small). The nearest beach (Maenporth) has limited parking which was full when we arrived, however we would highly recommend 2nd nearest beach of Swanpool, linked with a great coastal footpath to the larger Gyllngvase beach which was a 10-15 min walk max. Overall a lovely stay and we plan to return but for a longer time next time!

  Great location and food, very relaxed location with good access to SW Coast path walks

  Liked: Breakfast and evening meals are fabulous, staff make it extra enjoyable, really friendly and pleasant! Nice and peaceful, you can hear the sea from the rooms with the windows open, lovely fresh air, but the smell of the breakfast cooking has you up!

  Disliked: Nothing worth writing about! One thing to note though is that the roads around here and accessing are single lane and very narrow, muddy & pot holed, so you might want to consider if you a have a low profile tyred sports type vehicle or large SUV, or are bad at reversing long distances up lanes to get to passing points!
