Liked: The decor was charming and the room had everything I needed. I loved the reading room.

  Not the best

Liked: Location was good. Easy to walk to restaurants and sights. Free parking in front with 6 spots on first come first serve basis. Cute hairy coo and Scottish decorations made it more cheery thankfully.

Disliked: Hallway upstairs smelled stale. Our room also had this and bad additional off-putting odors. Maybe previous guests had really bad foot/body odor or a wet dog? Others commented on excessive cleanliness but didn’t seem too be that clean. Hallways, room and bath were very tight. Room was stuffy but window didn’t stay open. Felt a step up from youth hostel.

Liked: The location was excellent, very close to the city centre. Beds very comfy, good night's sleep. Quiet location, and shops nearby. Easy check in and good communication from booking to check out.

Disliked: No physical contact with hosts. Shower, weak pressure. Sliding toilet door lacks privacy and difficulty in shutting.

Comfortable and clean. Can be loud at night

Liked: Cozy and gave an authentic highland vibe. Quick response time by the owners to questions and concerns. Free parking.

Disliked: Very noisy. Other guests were very loud. The building is old and the walls are thin. Had several sleepless nights.

  A very comfortable stay

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The working radiators were a bonus. It was great to have access to a lounge/diner and kitchen. It made the place feel more like a shared home than just a room booking. There were even basic food items too (coffee, tea, sugar, porridge oats). I arrived before check-in and was allowed to wait in the lounge, both the owners and cleaners were very friendly. I also appreciated being allowed to leave my large bag so I could explore Inverness. The local Coop store was very close by which was convenient.

Disliked: Nothing, it was all good.
